This cotton skirt by RANT Clothing is 100% made in Australia
The Levitate skirt is a classic RANT style that every few years we create a new version of. This limited edition version is made from a beautiful Egyptian cotton fabric that is made in The long staple 2 ply yarn was then woven into fabric in Japan. It is mercerized to reduce the weight and give it a silky smooth finish. It's hard to believe it's actually cotton.
The unusual panel lines in this skirt make it drape nicely around your body, with fullness at the assymetrical hem, which is gently bunched with soft elastic inserted. On the right hand side there is a cute pocket inserted into the panel. The waistband is our signature fold over stretchy band, made from a soft Bamboo jersey and can be worn a few ways. We have done a tutorial for the waistbands on this style. It can be found here.
This style has been prewashed in rainwater at our home studio.
