This organic cotton dress by Bestowed Clothing is 100% Australian made
Made of a soft organic cotton, the Joey dress is an oversized tee-dress that you can just throw over leggings, pants or a skirt. It has long loose sleeves that can be rolled up easily to shorten at will. This style features a 'joey' pocket at the centre front which is borrowed from the Blythe maxi! The neckline is a charcoal chunky rib fabric which matches the contrast charcoal stitching on the hems and pocket.
The 2021 version of the Joey is a cute patched edition created using pieces of our Lino cut screen printed fabric patched with plains. The print pieces were cut when we were making the summer styles as there was wasted space in the marker that the panels and pocket fitted in perfectly and is part of our zero waste policy.

This print is an original artwork by Brisbane artist Rachael Lee titled 'Treasured Gems'. The work is a hand carved lino print, that has been screen printed onto Australian made organic cotton jersey in Melbourne. You can read more about it here.
